GIH2024 is a fully online event
I bought a ticket, but I have not received any confirmation mail. Why?
Your registration will be confirmed once you purchase a ticket. We will send confirmation emails by the first week of September. Kindly wait until then.
So how will GIH2024 help me learn Android development?
If you refer to the timeline on the homepage, you'll see that, unlike other hackathons, we start with a 5-day online internship program on Android Development. During this internship, you will learn the basics of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. This foundational knowledge will help you complete the subsequent MOOC and ultimately transform you into an Android Developer.
Will I receive any certificates upon buying a ticket?
Certificates for the program will be issued as follows:
Hackathon Participation Certificate - Awarded upon purchasing a ticket.
5-Day Internship Certificate - Awarded upon purchasing a ticket and attending the online workshop.
MOOC Course Certificate - Awarded upon completing the MOOC course.
Hackathon Winner Certificate - Awarded if you win the hackathon (the number of winners will be finalised and updated soon).
Long-Term Internship Certificate - Awarded to winners selected by the company for an internship with a stipend.
I registered for GIH2024. Will I receive swags or goodies?
Swags and goodies will be sent to students who have purchased regular or techie tickets. Please refer to the registration page for more details.
Will I receive university credits or activity points for participating in this hackathon?
